Guys It seems I cannot install CUP properly. I have ModAct working, but when I unzip the first part of CUp the mapmod to Il2 root folder nothing happens, there is no new selector and If I copy the folder to JGSME folder and install nothing changes. Can someone hlep please?

Quote from page1 of the download section:

This is not working. Game works with SAS Modact 5.3, then I unzipped all the parts from the Map Module to the Il2 root, then all the parts from the WAW. Then I select WAW on the "Il2 Selector" and try to start, the game CTD at 70%. I'm missing a step or something?

Here is my logfile: Sorry but I cannot post here the web don't aloow me that.

"CandCJET$OBOE_F4Unit" 70% CTD error.
Was reported a zillion times meanwhile.
Search the cup thread for the solution.

I searched the CUP posts, but can't seem to find any reference to how big your IL2 folder should be after you fully install CUP.

I just recently took my clean IL2 4.12.2 modact5.30 and reinstalled CUP.   Both my reinstall and old install seem to work fine, but the old one is about 36GB and the new one is 42GB.  I've tried to figure out the differences, but so far the only differences I can find are a few extra files in the smaller install!  That makes no sense.  My install(s) include Module-02  DBW-1916 Skinpack & C.U.P. Stationary DOF, Module-03 WAW part 8, Module-04 JTW part 5 and CUP module-01 part 10 plus Level Stabiliser option for all aircraft, which I believe is about everything.

Could a few of you post the size of your CUP install without any additions so I could compare them to mine.

Thanks ... tooslow
