Hello guys,

I created this map about one year ago for a campaign with my squad. This campaign took place between Lae and Wewak, but since this time I let it take dust on my HDD.



So, first of all, the runways used are copied/pasted from the Slot maps. If in any case it's a problem, I can delete them in a second. Just tell me.
Then, the map is only textured and populated between Lae and Wewak (maybe a little bit more than that, but I can't remember).

Now, if someone wants to finish the job (and there still is a lot to do), here is the link :

No. A quick look at Google Earth and a line from the northern tip of Australia to Port Moresby shows this to be almost, if not exactly, half scale.

This is a great map and one I hope someone takes on to detail and finish it.

Plowshare is right, the scale is very near to 1:2.

And I forgot to say that the map was created Under UP3RC4 (but I'm not sure if this 'detail' can be useful)

Thanks, Tomcat!  I have been waiting for 2 years for someone to include the "Team Pacific's New Guinea/New Britain Map" in an update but no joy!  This map might be the only answer to this region if someone can adopt this map!

Yes indeed!  Until I loaded the map and looked around, I didn't realize how good it does look.  I'm not a map builder but it doesn't appear to need too much help!

Hi Tomcat,
Your area is quite interesting 
I have one similar but without Rabaul I stopped the map just after Lae and went further down north Queensland to include Cairns and Townsville.
If your keen for it I'll add the airfields in northern Queensland and re upload soon.
I have a great book Queensland's WW2 Airfields 50 years on.The airfields will be historically correct.
I work in 4.12 so will see what happens with your map loading first.
