Ok. So just go to OS(C:) and create \games? I think I'm understanding this concept...

Computer>OS(C:)>games>IL-2 CUP

^Like this???

Hi! vonofterdingen
In my case, drive D: \ <Games> <# IL-1946 C.U.P>.
That's right, in my case, I installed the game in this way.
Best regards,
Piotrek

I did so and ran the game through the selector in the module 1 folder. It started up and did nothing...

You don't want to run the selector from the module folder, you want to run it from the games\[your il2] folder. What I had intended was that you take each rar file from the module folder, copy it to your games\il2 folder, and then extract. If you did that, you should have no selector in the module folders.

Be strong. We can't give up now, can we? This is why we started with a copy of your working modact folder. We are just battling a language barrier but we will get over it. I have been unclear.

so...

We go to the \games\il-2 folder. We copy the SAS-MME01.rar folder from module1 to \games\IL-2

paste to the \games\il-2 folder

Now extract it here in the games\Il-2 folder

These are the steps you need to take for all of the files in your module folders. Remember to answer Yes whenever you are prompted to overwrite existing files.

I made a mistake above though! I am going to edit it. I copied file 10 first and not file 01. Don't do that! Do them in numeric order.

Understood! I do have some more questions. My pilot info is in Russian. How do you fix that and also the FMB list doesnt entirely show up. As in I can use the directional keys but I dont know what map I'm selecting. Help!?

Ok, one thing at a time.

First, it sounds like it is working. Goal!

Now, "My pilot info is in Russian. "  You are trying to run an campaign that was built for an earlier version. That is fine, but the properties files will have an _ru extension, like this:

Use rename to remove the _ru in the file name. In other words, in the example above I would need to change 010-Mongrel-Arrival_ru.properties to 010-Mongrel-Arrival.properties

Regarding the second issue, I assume you are in the FMB and your screen is covered in map selections and you can't do much. This is a known issue for CUP and you can search the thread for fixes. I know that you load the Pal Mission Pro Combo mod as one fix.
