For some reason, after every time I set my conf.ini as instructed in C.U.P readme, game resets my NumChannels back to 3.
Also, when in third person or in static camera, planes either losing their sound or sound very quite and desynchronised.

My conf.ini, my Log.lst and sound.log

Hi Chupacabras,

Your log:

"num channels 32  <=== means you don't have the "audio device" allowing 64 channels working
cannot read from file
Cannot open audio file samples/argus_1500.wav"  <=== means this sample is missing from your CUP install

Try it yourself ?conf.ini--The right mouse button --  file attributes -- readonly.

Setting it to read only wont do much if its doesn't support that many channels to begin with (although I was under the impression that mixing channels is being done by software).
Any idea how to get flybys working?
I can set 32 channels so I assume at least that much my onboard chipset supports.

... may be the Audio Device java class is absent from CUP ...?

You'll find it here :

I also have this exact problem. Did you ever resolve it ? I can also confirm that my installation is missing the "Audio Device java class" thing. Although I have no idea where to put the file.

Check this topic, check whether water condition affects you as well and if it does, post in that topic.

Thanks. Yeah I've already seen the thread. Water settings seems to have no effect what-so-ever for me though. Did you try to "install" the missing java file ?
