Thanks for doing this...it's a great idea to have separate installs for each theater.
I am wondering if this might work over 4.11. I'm not sure when the team implemented the code that caused C&C stuff to not work as intended.
The definitive 4.12 version need someone with good java coding skills to add the needed routines to to the C&C mod.

Well, have a go and try. It's not suitable for 4.12, in fact there is little point as the crucial C&C Mod doesn't work in 4.12 (sad, as it is the best version of IL-2 by far), at least not in its salient parts.

One of the main reasons for making this small pack - beside making it easy for people who want to try their hand at nightfighting - is for providing me a simple basis for updating my old nightfighting campaigns.

Two of them have been updated using the "Nachtjagd" Mod Pack:

"The Kammhuber Line" 1941 (Players aircraft is the Bf 110E-1): http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=711

More will eventually follow.

A bit of a problem.....
A standard DBW install include multiple engine and prop pitch HOTAS controls when I look at the controls menu in game.
Upon enabling Nachtjagd the control sheet changes and those options are replaced by earlier ones.
I have looked in \STD\i18n at he control.ru file and indeed it does have the earlier set.
So I tried replacing that file with the later version...no joy.
Where are the control options stored so I can fix this ?

in DBW no controls.ru file exists so I thought delete from the Nachtjagd pack and that would solve it....
nope..
Something in that pack rewrites the controls menu

Engine mod ? I installed DBW as per instructions.
The whole point of this install is your marvelous pack...so yes if I de-activate the original controls menu is restored..hoping that we can figure out whats wrong and fix it...

the new multi engine controls are included as part of patch 4.10 by TD

I think it may be related to some classfiles conflict ; I found that activating this pack make the beacon controls disappear. It's impossible to use radio beacons until you disable the pack - so everything comes back to normal.

When the pack is added it adds a controls_ru.properties to the 18n directory...but it does not use it for anything.
I tried changing it to controls.properties....no joy
The Beacon controls are present in this file.
the .rc files are identical checked with WinMerge
Poltava...when you made this pack did you check that the beacons worked in your install ?
