Was this query ever answered?

If the MOD folder is placed inside #JTW or equivalent, it has to be renamed so it loads before the !0000_ClassFiles. If not it will not be loaded.

Pablo, thanks for that.  But since I am way, way below you guys in the knowledge department, what in the world would you name it if it were yours?  Thanks again.

Ol Navy:

Try putting two " ! "  in front of the zero's.  That should move it up on top of the Class files.

Thank you "C" for your info.  While I am at it - should I understand then, that it really doesn't make a difference what a mod is called as long as the content is there?  And I thought that the "!" is the same as "-".  Learn something new each day (that isn't true but it sounds good).  Thanks again.

Sorry to be a bother again, but I did as told.  Renamed the file, put two "!!" things in front of the zeros, but it is still the file below the "! SAS Common Utils".  This was in WAW.  Does it matter?  I don't use the other modules, just WAW.  Thank you.

Oops.  I think I just answered my question.  It needed to be above !0000_Classfiles.  Mine is.  I assume where it should be.  Forget it.  I'm just old.  Thank you.

Just a quick question. As a lot of cleaning up has been done lately, is this fix still a valid option?

Thanks,

Bergkamp

I have been testing this and, so far, it does not break Tiger33's Flybys or Engine Flames.  This is probably due to the new structure and classfile cleanup of the new CUP mod folders.  Should we include it as baseline EngineMOD code in C.U.P.?  I think so, or at least have the easy option through JSGME, like this:

#WAW_00_FPS 6 WEPFIX
https://www.mediafire.com/?phuw7fmh381ibd7

Future sets of smoke and engine flame tweaks, and this fix, will be available for all C.U.P. Modules as they are upgraded.

Thanks Monty.

Nice to get things neat and tidy and "officially" installed.

Yeah, I've gone all: "establishment", dunno...  :P
