realistic parking of aircraft on modern carriers
« on: May 26, 2015, 10:22:07 AM »

I have released CVA-31 Bon Homme Richard recently https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,46424.0.html

I managed to modify the usual aircraft parking rectangular areas and moved one near the bow and another option towards the stern. Does anyone have the expertise to create more realistic parking on deck? That is, aircraft on the edges of deck, at angles facing inwards. If, because of IL-2 engine limitations, only one area can be modified then let's make it stern parking.

I'm sure I've seen all of the notes on hooks from the forums (eg. western0221 gave a basic guide on hooks, IIRC asheshouse recently said he had to do it by trial and error) but there doesn't seem to be a certainty with this topic.

I work with Blender using BlendyBlendy exporter which has a limitation with regard to normals and rendering but, I think, can export hooks.

Thanks.
