That repaint is truly outstanding Uufflakke.

Hopefully I will get around to doing the other units soon, on holiday at the moment so when weather permits I try to get out and about and away from the PC.

Here is my repainted version of the cavalry units.
I tried to make it as historically correct as possible by using images of original uniforms, saddle bags etc.

After you have downloaded and installed the objects from the original post, download my version and let the 4 folders (British Patrol + Cavalry) overwrite the original ones.
Besides repainting I edited the .mat files to get rid of the shiny appearance of the cavalry when seen from certain angles. Included also is a corrected static.ini.

I have added your link to the first post, hope you have no objections.

Hopefully this week I will have the time to look at the other three nations cavalry units I have, this project has been held up by holidays and trying to get the Felixstowe sea plane into the sim.

Hello guys, I have now started on the second of the four cavalry units.


Germany:




As you can see from this image the pose of the figures is exactly the same as the previous British set, however, they differ
in the colour of uniform and the unique German style helmet.

I was not sure which of the three to do next, German, French or Russian but opted for these.

Not sure whether to release each of the different units as individual downloads or make one pack containing them all and merely
update the link as I add each nation. \

Yes, that would probably the best option as it keeps everything together in the same folder.

The dead models are intended to populate your battlefield scenarios to represent a previous conflict; the standing versions
could be painted to represent a statue/monument, the hitboxes are not there so they will not be destroyed.


Stationary objects:



Used in the same old way.

These can be destroyed as are the moving versions:

And patrol:




They are each different dead models.

Glad you like them Peter, a little something extra to populate those superb campaigns of yours.


There is now a new link in the first post that adds the German cavalry units into the download.

With Uufflake's permission I have added his repainted textures to the British units; for uniformity the German units retain the original textures by
Stephen1918 although I could have added the horses.


Please remove your previous pack and replace with the new one just in case I changed something that could be detrimental and replace all
the previous entries.
