reduced morning fog?

A thing I've not been liking ever since is the extremely heavy morning fog in some Il2 environments. I've been playing mission that suffer heavily from this lately and I thought I might as well as how you feel about it.
Is there a mod that reduces / eliminates this effect?

There are two versions in the zip, use one at a time:
1. No Fog
2. 50% Fog

There is also a 'fog haze mod' which let you change the height of ground fog and its density.

I tried vpmedia's mods in my DBW1916

They had no effect whatsoever. I made sure they were at the top. Can anyone confirm that they actually do something?
