we weep together....but, spilt milk, and all that....we need to move on and invent our own new techniques for cameras.
just read your other thread about ntrk issues, Pixy - it may seem like an uphill battle, but remember, if you just tackle one problem at a time, it'll eventually work itself out.
where there's a will, there's a way, or such yoda-like wisdom, lol....:D

well my movie wouldn't be so bad if I didn't keep adding boring static cameras in the mission. I missed Pat Mods insta-static-cam thing, where you press "q" and it automatically drop a camera on that location and you can move it where ever. Default cam angles are SOOOO boring

i managed to get it working on my DBW install, albeit only with the F9 camera tilt option.
however, it seems i was just lucky, as it doesn't work for most people.
i did a lot of experimenting with it, removing as many classfiles as i could without it crashing, and still retaining the cam feature.
don't ask me to repeat what i did, i was really just flying blind, and struck lucky, i guess.
my advice is to experiment with it. ;)

no, apparently it only works on my DBW, so i count myself lucky, and have no idea why it doesn't work for most.
maybe because it's the first mod i ever added to my DBW, but many mods later, it's still working.
go figure.

i got it from Zuti, iirc, at UP site, a 'light' version of the PAT mod, with most features disabled except for the camera function.
even so, that caused me many problems, but after i just dived in and fiddled randomly with it, i got it working in my DBW.

Are you using any sort of config.ini line?
I ask cause I tried it on DBW1.71 (loaded above any other mod)...but no joy, it doesn't work.

no, nothing in config or any other file.
can't even remember which version it originally was, tbh....i've named it PAT Cam Only mod, but that's just my own name, no idea what the original was called
it's simply a folder with 136! classfiles in it -the fact is, if i play around some more, i think i can  lighten it even further by removing more classfiles, until i have the least possible amount with the camera still working ;)

The only "effect"..I've it's with F9 that allows me to change the viewing angle from the rear of the plane.

Nothing happen pushing F8 or something other.
