I made a mod to fix a couple of cockpit issues in the G4M some time ago...
It included a fix for the dashboard as well as a fix for the tail cone and a fix for the bug that caused the switching of the exterior 3d model in flight. Maybe it will be of use to you guys...

i can highly recommend the cockpit that Yeager has linked - it's a big improvement over the original :D
