Awesome Piece of cake. Definitely looking forward to it's progress.
Best wishes

I am still collecting reference photos.
Any examples of good quality close up shots (WWII era) that you come across please post.
General shots distance shots are of limited use. I have a lot of those already.

Came across this good image - Though its obviously back to front. :)
Not sure of the location. US east coast somewhere?
Lots of useful detail though.

NO QUOTE PICS !

Another useful detail shot - barely recognisable as Furious, but it shows the splinter shields around the forward 4in gun clearly.

NO QUOTE PICS !

I believe that the photo oof the Furious was taken at Philadelphia ship yard as it was there for refit from Nov 1941 to April 942. My partners father who is now 96 was on the ship at this time and remembers this period very well.

Update - Adding texture to the minor details, deck edge safety nets, wind baffles to air ops bridge, etc..

The skin-art is not my creation. Its cloned from a profile publication.
Progress on this has slowed cause I've been too busy with work.

This is a work of art.  First time reading this discussion but I think this is a wonderful ship.  Great job on this and I'm sure more British carrier plane mods will come out of this.

Slow, but some progress. Nearly finished mapping textures to all the minor details.
