Speed bar missing
« on: December 11, 2015, 03:15:25 PM »

Hi all ,
Downloaded all the latest mods for cup (waw, JTW and DOF)
but since installing I have lost the speed and altertude readouts from my screen.
Have reinstalled CUP from new But still no readouts on the screen.
Could it be a problem with one of the latest updates has anyone else seen this or is it something I have done or not done.
Cheers edc1 (stan)

Go to difficulties settings and check whether "No Speed Bar" is checked. If so, uncheck. Perhaps that will work.

Or, in my case, I press "Ctrl+S" to toggle the speed bar on/off.  Your command may be different, check your key command settings.  One of these solutions should help you out...

IL2 without the speedbar is a beautiful thing: you should consider yourself fortunate.

But seriously: when you press toggle (actually cycle) speedbar, one of the settings is off.  If you exit IL2 with it off that setting will be saved in your User cfg, so next time you fly, speedbar will be off: until you use the speedbar key again.
