ships still shooting when sinking

Not sure if this is a "bug" or intended, but I have noticed ships now continue to fire AAA when sinking. Actually I rather like this :)  WAW level 16.

that behaviour is an old 'bug' as I have seen ships sinking with a gunner still firing long before CUP , DBW or UP, I think its the same as when an AI pilot dies while firing, ever notice a plane dive into the ground with its guns blazing....
