the Il-2 6Dof/TIR Enabled Executable Error
« on: December 31, 2015, 09:14:06 PM »

Hi I was experiencing the QMB freezing problem too as soon I was hiting the QMB ,
searching every were a solution about it ,  removing the VisualMod8 out of the #WAW and do it manually, because by JSGME it sometimes doesn't work completely), and putting the manually downloaded newest version of PAL-VisualMod9-v4122 in place like it was tell here...
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,49169.msg537428/topicseen.html#msg537428

But infortunatly it was not a working solution for me , my game was working well everywere  but still can't use  the QMB without having the frozen P47- Spitfire Hangar screen, many many try and unsucessfull  experience later I find this little topic
talking about a QMBPRO problem ,

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,49134.msg537075.html#msg537075

''Hint: when you play such qmbpro missions in ie WAW and want to change
the CUP module in the selector to ie DOF and then start a QMBpro mission
a games freeze is possible... :(  to avoid this you have to delete the file last.quick
in the dir "your_CUP_game/quicks" everytime after having changed
the CUP scenario and before you restart the game.  :)

Curiously removing the last quick also  fix the 6Dof/TIR Enabled Executable Error problem too for QMB freeze
Didn t find Anyway I could fix this with a better solution  already.....
Removing "last.quick" work great but it's not really funny to do this all the time ;)

This is an issue described in 100 different ways and associated with the non-existence of planes or eventually maps defined in the last QMB mission you used. This is something typical when you switch between two different installations (WAW, TGA, JTW, DOF, DBW, HSFX7...)

My MissionProCombo adressed it 2 years ago (at least). Wehenevr you change from one installation to other it will handle any possible conflict between the .last.quick settings and your current installation.
