Railway Gun Leopold, does it fire?

I have the latest CUP install and the "Ger. Railway Leopold artillery* " appears in the Stationary Stock section in FMB. There is also a "283mm Railway gun Leopold" in the same section. I have been unable to find out if it fires! ( as yet)
One question, I just noticed was some of the objects in the Stationary Stock section have an astrix after them?🤔 I wonder what that means?
