Seaplane PBN1

Hello,
when I try to use the seaplane PBN1 in QMB I get a CTD.
The use of the ConsPBY doesn't cause any problem but it doesn't have a turret with a bombsight.
With WOW up to 12, there is no problem.
Any idea?

tartenmuche you should know the story by now! - no logfile no help!

I tried the PBN and my plane loads but as soon as the pit appears, the game freezes and it is CTD

funnily, the PBY works, but the bombardier position brings up a locked screen, at least I can jump to the gunner stations, better than with the PBN..

must lie somewhere in the classfiles I guess

UPDATE:

if you add the download from post #65 from here, the PBN works again..

it seems that Simon used an old version of the PBY mod or the integration does not work properly; but that download solves the problem plus you get a nice PBY as well :)

Dear Griffon,
thank you for your help but the bombsight is missing.
In a previous version of CUP it was available and the explanation given in the readme says that v2.02m gives a bombsight for monitor 16/9 which is my case.
The readme is not explicit of how the choice of the size of the monitor must be introduced in the WAW folder.

thats correct, there is no bombsight and the PBN is one of the birds that suffer in this regard...for me this is a 4.12 issue and not related to CUP and therefor, I do not use the bombsight on the PBY/N; besides that, the bombs were mostly NOT dropped using a bombsight but using the Mk.I eyeballs and good judgement; the gunsight in the PBY is a good help in this regard...

result: if you want the PBN, you will have to use the version from the link I have posted but will not have a working bombsight...

might have something to do with the PBY mod? but I do not know when this one was added...at least the PBN is flyable again and I am sure, Simon will find a solution to the problem...I have already made him aware of this thread...
