Dear Monty,
I am sorry to come again with the PBN Nomad but in spite of the fix I get a CTD when I try to fly the plane in QMB.
I have an older game inside which the Nomad is flying including turret and bombsight.
I made a comparison between the content of the fix and the same lines in my old game and I found in ZTD:
7BCABC9A9F5B76C6 is dated 2014 in my old game but 2008 in the fix
9E09BFDA57AFDEF6 is also dated 2014, 2008 in the fix.
I made a copy of these two lines in my old game and patched them in my new one, tried the Nomad and got a CTD.
Best regards.

Tarten do you use CUP or have you tried to mod the game yourself? Because this latest and last of the classfiles he gave us work perfectly. It fixed the Nomad in QMB and also in FMB.

Chances are my friend you may have to do what I did......delete CUP, save your user and skins. And start again.  :( I have a deep feeling I would have had the same error if I hadn't done that.

Best to you mate.

No need to start again - Just delete old #WAW and use Part-18 #WAW  - Then apply fixes.

Well Monty turns out my install was kind of out of place anyway, I needed to install it in sequence. Plus mate. I used the original posting of CUP to start the process again, turns out it's not obsolete if you want to start with CUP, I tried installing all the parts of MME up to 13 (Then), and I messed it up big time on the map .ini file, same with the DOF, WAW, JTW packs.

From all the top parts on the original page, the seperate CUP packages that came after part 12 of MME, Part 07 of DOF, 12 of WAW, and Part 06b of JTW. It's a good stable base then you can make it work.

I would recommend it for beginners. Because the original post of CUP's release can form the basis and then the other more advanced packages that have recently been released can be added. So it forms with the releases and aligns them nicely.

Hi ! I did have this problem too (and despite installing #WAW 18B, nothing new since WAW 17) ; I tested and reinstalled carefully each file from MME 13A to D-PNG, MME 14 and WAW 18 & 18B, deleted completely any enabled or disabled older #WAW (because strangely my game acted really like using still the old 'inactivated' one...). Now everything works fine, including PBN (and the beloved catapults - only the Kingfisher still crashes at start).

I have an older game inside which the Nomad is flying including turret and bombsight.
7BCABC9A9F5B76C6 is dated 2014 in my old game but 2008 in the fix
9E09BFDA57AFDEF6 is also dated 2014, 2008 in the fix.
Maybe from this update ?

Pete, you need to check that you updated SFS files from Part-09 correctly.  In any case the MB174 3do could easily be included again in the next update but you want to make sure you are not missing anything.

The total size of the complete folder WAW_SFS - to Part-18 - is 12.1Gb containing 69 files: WAW01.SFS through to WAW69.SFS.

Hello Simon, My WAW SFS folder comes out at 11.9 GB and all the files are there except WAW 50. :(

On many occasions I have had to download CUP parts a few times because they failed, maybe one of those was corrupted and that is why I am missing this particular
SFS file.

So the question now is if I download the early parts again can I just find that particular SFS file and add it in or would I have to go through the complete re-install again?

I also have the Nomad issue reported here, previous fixes sorted out the HA-112 and MC202 AS XII CB, thank you for those, not sure about the exploding Wildcats though.

Take care guys.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete. ;D

Hello,
I still have problem with the Nomad in spite of the fix. So I will start a new game from a vanilla Il2. Does a way exist to save and patch the commands because installing the commands (the mine) which were designed with a qwerty keyboard by using a azerty keyboard is a boring job.
Best regards.

Monty,

I am all set.  Restarted my computer and it all kicked in.  Don't know what the issue was, but I love WAW18!

I would be honored to work on missions.  I am slowly dismantling my book collection in anticipation of moving to a condo in Florida this fall, but it is still pretty impressive.  Right now I am reading a book by Peter Hart called Bloody April.  It is a fascinating look at the air war over Arras in 1917.

Thanks for everything.  Go Yaks!

Yes, for the mod folders but you do need the SFS content of course!  Continous WAW01.sfs to WAW69.SFS - 12.1Gb  Do them in order because some of the SFS files are updated at a later stage.

Well you certainly have a missing Part-09 Pete.  Just grab the SFS content from Part-09, WAW50.SFS is in there, along with several others.

You don't need to touch the #WAW mod folder but it does need all of the SFS files to refer too.

SAS-MME09 - https://www.mediafire.com/?134jrb9erhoyrlp

Part-10 updates WAW51.SFS so make sure you have the latest one as well - Again just get your SFS content up to date.

Look, I could spend more hours typing here, but before you waste time on something that can be done in less than five minutes, PLEASE read the manual.  Look for 'Understanding CUP', in the early pages.  No I can't type it all out again.  It really is so easy to update and reset pretty much instantly and your stock game is never effected.  So all this talk of re-install and starting from scratch really is rubbish.

At Hangar-19 we regularly tear the sim apart and rebuild it in a few minutes all the time!  Please check out the manual.
