if you follow the tutorial linked there, you'll know what the right log is - so please start by following the advice given there.

This problem seems to be a USN problem. I can fly other missions with no problem.

I have 2 logs one says :hs_err_pid5964. the other is eventlog

again, and for the last time - please refer to the very first reply to this thread, by vpmedia, and click on each of the links he has given there - the links are the words 'here' which are in blue - click on those to get you to the tutorial thread that shows how to get the error log.
neither of the two you mention are the right ones. the proper error log, by default, is called 'log.lst'...

I am not getting the logfile. My config has this in it.

But it is not working. No logfile in my install folder at all. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try to save as log.lst instead of logfile.txt ?

When you say "my install folder" are you referencing the folder where your game install files are or do you mean your game folder? Your log file will be in the root directory of your game folder.
