Running multiple CUP modules
« on: January 20, 2016, 10:19:43 AM »

Hi guys,

New here on the forum. For the past 7 years or so, i've been running a bastardized copy of DBW with all kinds of mods. Eventually, it came to a point where mods were not showing up and eventually quit. Figuring the install had been around for such a long time, and had become so disorganized, I deleted it all. Only to find out I couldnt find the discs. So, I bought it on steam and installed CUP with WAW and the Jet module. It works great, and so many other mods I hadnt seen before really take this game to a new level.

There is one thing that I am trying to figure out. I've searched through the forums the past few days and couldnt find a definite answer. In my old install, I could F-86s, Panthers you name it and destroy the Pearl Harbor era Japanese forces. With the way CUP is structured, the Korean War jets are in one Module while the WWII planes exist in another module. I was wondering if there was a work around for getting both modules running at the same time. I fear that since the Jet module has specific files associated with it, it may not work.

Thanks!

well, as you seem to have experience with some bastardized copies of DBW as you have put it, thats the thing you would have to need to do to achieve what you want - either take WAW and add the jets plus what is necessary to run them or take Jet War and add the props you want....
