Crashes back to desktop as soon as I try to run the game.
« on: January 20, 2016, 03:12:50 PM »

I hit the Start IL-2 Now! button, the logo pops up for a couple seconds, and it brings me right back to the IL-2 Selector.exe.

I built a new PC and downloaded and installed everything just the way I did on my old laptop. FYI, I'm trying to run the WaW module, updated to part 18B.

Here's my logfile.

I installed everything to D:\GalaxyClient\Games\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946. Game was installed as 4.13, I reverted to 4.10, and then installed the 4.12m patch.

The stock game works perfectly FYI.

Check the game manual for info on perfect mode and graphics settings.

The other problem is caused by the game not being able to locate an sfs file which is part of the mod activator and should be in the game root.

So, which folder would sas_basic_50.sfs be found? I have every single base CUP and WAW part downloaded.

sas_basic_50.sfs is a part of SASModAct5.30 .
It has to be installed in your root of the game folder (same place of il2fb.exe and il-2 Selector.exe).
