JSGME RESTORE POINT-18-WAW

FOR C.U.P. WORLD AT WAR PART-18 AND ABOVE.

INSTALL:
DISABLE ALL JSGME OPTIONS

ENTER Il2/JSGMEMODS FOLDER AND DELETE ALL FOLDERS PREFIXED '#WAW'

UNZIP/UNRAR 'JSGME RESTORE POINT-18' STRAIGHT TO IL2 MAIN DIRECTORY

RE-ENABLE JSGME OPTIONS TO TASTE.


This is a full up-to-date set of JSGME Options for C.U.P. #WAW.  This does not include other JSGME Options made outside of the immediate Dev Team environment, or more general options for #CUP.  Use your noggin as always and apply what works best for you.

This set is designed to remove repeats and tidy up all of the options available through the usual C.U.P. Module downloads.  A full explanation of all is included below:

JSGME OPTIONS FOR WORLD AT WAR ONLY ARE ALWAYS PREFIXED '#WAW'

THE SOUND OPTIONS
#WAW Soundset-01
This is the original CUPSOUNDS folder de-compressed.  This set is very nice overall with the exception that some of the Merlin Engined aircraft have sound issues and dropouts.  If you are flying one of those types and it doesn't sound right its best to try #WAW Soundset-02.

#WAW Soundset-02
These are Tiger33's sounds de-compressed with improved weapon sounds.  #WAW Soundset-02 Replaces the previous #WAW Soundset-02 AND #WAW Soundset-03.

Other Soundsets may easily be created by cloning these folders and making your own!

THE ENGINE MOD IS CRITICAL USE IT PLEASE!
#WAW_00 EngineMOD
Revert to Full SASEngineMOD 2.7 + Western's Patch.  This latest version will disable the catapults on the Iowa Class vessels.  However, this is best version for the best AI behaviour.  So if you have light AI, and want to launch off the Iowa battleships, stay as you are, its fine.  For pretty much every other situation, you need this option enabled.

The previous BAD CLASSFILES - 4B598398AD1D180C and 08447B2E29097EB0 (Seafire loadout breakers) have been removed from here, and other JSGME options, and should not trouble you further!

ENGINE SMOKE AND FLAMES OPTIONS
These are options, starting with the lightest.

#WAW_00_FPS 0 SMOKE-OFF
Really FPS friendly smoke effects!  Very small particle effect and no flames.  Good for crowded carrier decks.

#WAW_00_FPS 1 SMOKE-LITE01
Startup smoke reduced for less FPS impact! - by dpeters95

#WAW_00_FPS 2 SMOKE-LITE02
Startup smoke reduced for less FPS impact! - by SAS~Gerax  This one is a little bit heavier than the previous option.

#WAW_00_FPS 3 SMOKE & FLAMES
Startup smoke reduced for less FPS impact and Full Throttle Flames! - by dpeters95

#WAW_00_FPS 4 JC-EFFECTS
MAKE SURE YOU ACTIVATE #WAW_00 EngineMOD FIRST!
Japancat's new !SAS_Engine_Mod_Marge Effects_20151031R including Western0221 Patch.

#WAW_00_FPS 5 JC-EFFECTS + FLAMES
MAKE SURE YOU ACTIVATE #WAW_00 EngineMOD FIRST!
Japancat's new !SAS_Engine_Mod_Marge Effects_20151031R including Western0221 Patch + Full Throttle Engine Flames.

IMMERSION AND GRAPHICS OPTIONS
These are little tweaks that affect the entire module.

#WAW_00_PAL-ChocksMOD
The immersive Chocks MOD is back!  I love this and it has no more conflicts or issues that we are aware of.  Its a JSGME Option that I mostly just leave on but it can be disabled, just in case. - by SAS~Benitomuso

#WAW_01 HQ Props MOD
A great looking addon for thicker more visible props that works in most cases to enhance the look of prop aircraft.  However, it doesn't yet fit every aircraft in C.U.P. so if you don't like the look of it you can disable it easily. - by dirtbloxxMC

#WAW_01_GUNCAM Santobr
This mod makes all tracers look as close as possible to what we see in gun camera footage. - by Wolfighter/Santobr/SAS~Storebror

#WAW_01_GUNPODS PA_Jeronimo
Modified Gunpods for German Aircraft - by PA_Jeronimo

#WAW_01_RANDOM BELT
This randomises the start position of your gun's belts, so that tracers don't appear synchronised anymore.

#WAW_02_DEF-SKIES
Apply default skies to all C.U.P. maps - removing tbauchot's enhancements.  This improves performance for lower spec machines.  This set also prepares the ground for Whistler's Sky-Randomiser MOD.  So if you use that (I do its great) activate this first and the randomiser will work too.

#WAW_02_TBS-SKIES
This option does the opposite: applying a set of tbauchot sky textures to most maps in C.U.P.  Its not as varied as using the Randomiser, but it is an effective opion for those who don't.

CONFIGURATION OPTIONS 01 and 02
Major Configuration tweaks that effect gameplay, loadouts and function.

#WAW_Config01 TORP LOAD
DreamK's Torpedo and Mine laying enhancements improve all suitable CUP aircraft. The Russian TB-3, in particular, has a very interesting Torpedo and Mine combination loudout. However; this new Torpedo loadout precludes the other FAB Bomb options for this aircraft series due to classfile conflicts.

Therefore this set of loadouts is added as a JSGME Option. 

#WAW_Config01 TORP LOAD - OFF - Normal TB-3 function and FAB Bomb loadouts.
#WAW_Config01 TORP LOAD - ON  - Torps and mines for the TB-3 but no FAB Bombs.

Most of the time you can activate and leave this option ON for all the lovely new Torps and Mines.  If you want to go bombing with TB-3 - Turn it OFF.

#WAW_Config01 TORP TXT
This classfile adds a texted information message following the drop. - by DreamK

#WAW_Config01-B-24D-140-CO
The new TD-413 Liberator ball turret code breaks all the other Liberators!  Activate this to fly the B-24D-140-CO but you will loose function on all other Liberators.

#WAW_Config01-Ju87 NO GEAR COVERS
Removes gear Covers from Ju87s - However, NOT compatible with #WAW_Config02-Ju87-BR-GEAR.  So its one or the other.

#WAW_Config01-Ju87-BR-GEAR (BOMB RELEASE GEAR)
Disable this for Ju87-A Models as they have their own built in BRG Mod.  Enable this for all other Ju87s in order to animate the swing arm.  The animated swing arm is also added to the Kates and the Dauntless.

THE FOLLOWING OPTIONS EFFECT CLAYMORE'S FW-190'S:
#WAW_Config02-Fw190 Flat Canopy AD
Adds the Flat Canopy to all A and D models.

#WAW_Config02-Fw190 LOGO A4
This option enables the Focke Wulf logo instead of the AGO's default on the "Schreibblock" in the Fw-190 A4.

#WAW_Config02-Fw190 Magnetos OFF
Turns the magnetos OFF (Claymore Fw190s) so that you have to remember to turn them on again before you can start up.

#WAW_Config02-Fw190 Night Reticles
Adds Night Reticles to all models.

#WAW_Config02-Fw-Ta152H1 EZ42
This option replaces the Ta 152 H-1 Revi16b with the Gyro gunsight Askania EZ42.

CONFIGURATION OPTIONS 03
These are Minor Options - Little 3d choices, enhancements, panel colours, stuff that changes the appearance of a mod but does nothing else.

Not yet, we have it in WAW Part-19.  A small aircraft suppliment with all previous fixes added...

hi Simon - small issue it appears a couple of files on the list are missing from the download, downloaded twice just incase the first was corrupted, but it appears that

#WAW_Config01 TORP LOAD

and

#WAW_Config01 TORP TXT

are not in the download, if you find the same , any chance you can re-upload both the original and a small fix to save time for those that have already grabbed the file.

I just updated all JSGME restore points and everything works better than ever :D

Will you add a link to the Sky-Randomiser MOD when you mention it so people know what you are talking about and it can be easily found? I just updated the topic a little for better reading/understanding

Everything works better is right, and I'm seeing a significant fps boost after I got rid of all the redundant and unnecessary items. Is that possible or is it my imagination?
