Yes, it will. Each module is independent of the others. (Except for the maps, of course.)

Provided you have installed all the map files, as noted above, and the WaW modules, then you are good to start.

Not sure what "add on's" you mean. Can you give an example?

1)out of 18 WAW files there are 10 which point out to a read me , then when there, there is a whole bunch of add ons . do i add them all ?
2) i tried to unzip the map folders to the root folder but i keep getting the folder with the map contents in the root folder !! can i unload all the maps in order one up... and drop them in the root folder ? i tried using 7 zip same result.
3) testing of each module folder during installation: how do you do that? is there a tutorial somewhere ?

No  ----  I think you may be referring to links to original mod threads in the readme file.

This problem is related to your use of WinRar or 7Zip, not CUP.
I use WinRar so cannot comment on any other compression software.  I have no problems with WinRar. Others use 7Zip without problems.
So it seems likely that you are not pointing the extractor to the correct folder.
Try extracting all to a temporary folder on Desktop, then cut and paste from there into your IL-2 folder.

Just startup IL-2 after installing each module and confirm that it starts ok and that you get the CUP screen appearing.

The Step by Step Guide provides all the download links you need.
Do not download anything else.

The "thread here" link provides a link to the original thread for each module, so you can read about what is in each module. --- but you do not need to download anything else.

Example WaW Pt8 - All you need is    C.U.P. Module-03 World at War PART-08.rar  downloaded from the Step by Step guide.   Nothing else.

Follow the instructions seen in the "thread here" link.
Quote
INSTALL PART-08 - UnRAR/UnZIP direct to main Il2 directory, overwrite when prompted:

Restore Point modules have special instructions given.  Be sure to read the specific instructions for each module.

You can stop at any point and enjoy the game but always disable any JSGME stuff before installing further modules.
