Sound problem with CUP WAW
« on: February 09, 2016, 03:26:15 PM »

After solving the bullet CTD issue https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,50292.0.html I still have the problem with engine startup sound that keeps bugging me. Now all engine startsounds stays sounding all thruogh the mission until I click the DONE button after ending the missions! I can´t find anything in the logfile that relates to that bugger! It is as if there a stopcommand missing for the sound but looking in the preset files there is a "motor.XX.start.engine.end.prs" file for every engine I´ve tried but it doesn´t seem to have any effect!?

Dear Sirs,
I also have a problem with the sound. I use CUP up to part WAW 20, WOW soundset 3, CUP sounds sfs remmed. In campaign or single missions I have a very erratic behaviour of the sound: very low depending of the position of my head (looking left or right), or no sound at all , in QMB I have no sound at all, inside or outside, some menu musics that I have installed just disappeared, I only get a gurgle.
What did I do wrong?
Best regards.

I had a similar problem some time ago and I found out I had to make some adjustments in my soundcard settings. It is some 6 or 8 months ago so I don´t remember what I did! Sorry, but check your soundcard setting if you can do some changes and test differences.

Dear Flying H,
you are right, it is not due to CUP. The connector 3.5 mm jack plug to 6,3 mm jack socket between my headphone and my monitor was broken. I am now looking for plug and jack with a cable.
Thank you for your help.
Best regards.
