Geezer WWI objects.

Objects and characters developed by Geezer for "First Eagle" adapted for IL-2 Sturmovik.

Groups of objects and figures:

Individual figures:

The dead versions for all:

Buildings added:

And their destroyed equivalents:

Individual items and their destroyed objects, the aircraft is there for a sense of scale:

Two of the existing buildings are now provided with no objects:

The final objects provided by Geezer:

And the destroyed versions of each:

Link updated 11th March 2016.

New textures by vpmedia for the dead models and alterations to the hats worn by figures in Blue:

Link added 16th March 2016:

http://ulozto.net/xCSjQLQ6/ww1-building-damages-7z

Dead textures for the figures are already included in the main download:

The new link from Istvan now includes new textures for the destroyed buildings and small objects:

Note:

In the main download are separate versions of the dead objects not included in the Istvan download and if you actually use
those you will also have to add the new textures to them as well.  To do that, once you have copied and pasted Istvan's
upload rename those folders by prefixing them with the word 'Dead' and remove the live versions inside before you copy and
paste again.

Strictly speaking those objects are not needed as you can apply the destruction brush to the main objects to create the dead
effect in your missions but I use them for developing the models so usually include them in the upload.

The link will be updated when extra objects have been converted and added to the pack. :)

Original objects and textures:  Geezer.

Request for converted object files:  RealDarko

Adapted for IL-2:  Pete Shaw aka Mission_bug.

Additional textures:  Stalker and vpmedia.

Alteration to mat files for specular lighting: vpmedia.

This is a limited release of objects containing figures and buildings.

All objects utilise the original 3D and textures and now have a damage model.

The second barn utilises new textures by Stalker one of which is a damage texture.

Also provided is a second texture for the dog, again by Stalker, that is in a separate folder so that you can copy and paste it into the existing object folders if you wish.

Damage texture original barn by vpmedia.

There are actual damage textures for some of the objects but not all, included are the normal textures and a darkened version for some of the dead models.

Please remove the previous folder as there have been changes throughout.

Could I please ask any of you that are making textures or intend to for these that you only post those and not the 3D meshes as the new upload
now has many changes from the original link and I do not want the two mixed up and causing issues for users.

A very special thank you to Geezer for allowing the use of his objects, RealDarko for making the request and Stalker and vpmedia for additional textures.

Wishing you all the very best, Pete, February 2016. ;D

I will be looking forward to seeing and also using the other human models and
the buildings also look great.
A very welcomed addition for everyone to create many new landscape scenes!
Thanks once again Pete!

Same to you, dear Mission_bug, an infinite thank you for this gift, very much appreciated !! And a thanks of course goes to Geezer who has granted us the use of these wonderful subjects ... in the hope that the next works of Geezer (vehicles and soldiers in an African  theater may also be transferred to our game) ...

The models had too much specular lighting and I had to change the mat files and make the textures a bit darker, tell me what you think:

  • proud member of that 'other' site

hi guys - a little question from me - i just downloaded Istvan's adjusted version, before i got the original one.
his doesn't have the static entries with his, just the textures, and so in order for me to not now unnecessarily download the first version which i am just going to replace straight away, could i bother someone for just the static entries, please...?
sorry for being such a spanner, lol :D
