C.U.P 5% Crash
« on: February 21, 2016, 04:26:36 PM »

I have the newest version of IL-2 1946 from steam. I installed modcast 6.0 with the installer. Game crashes at 5%.

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,1531.0.html

Found that link relating to my problem, but it's from 2009. Tried doing what it said and now luck still crashes at 5%. Can't find any recent posts about it.
Hope some one can help thanks.

Welcome to the forum, you will find a lot of people will be willing to help you here, but you need to take some time and read the new members page.  It provides a lot of information on what to post when asking for help.  Please keep in mind that here you have people who volunteer their time and efforts to help one another but the little information you given leaves us guessing.  The new member page helps you understand what this site is about, what are all those files you are going to be installing, and what to do when you have a problem and how to report that problem.

1.  Newest version of Il-2 1946 from steam means what?  What version of the game did you install?
2.  Your request for help is posted under the MOD C.U.P. Tech Help, which has its own set of installs.  Did you install C.U.P. also?
3.  MODACT 6.0 actually has a small update that leads it to 6.01.  Is this the version you have?
4.  MODACT 6 is for Il-2 1946 version 4.13.  C.U.P. is for version 4.12.4.  If you installed MODACT 6 and try to fly C.U.P. there will be problems. You will need to use MODACT version 5.3 if you are using Il-2 1946 version 4.12.4

Please take time and read the new member page, you may be surprised that you can figure out where you made a mistake and fix it.
