I just turned way down the volume of each sample in order to be able to hear German comrades speak since our Italian comrades speak SO LOUD in the stock version ...  ???

So if you fly on the Italian side this version is of course totally inapropriate ...

But hguderian said he was going to make a resampled version of the Italian pack, so just be patient ...

Hguderian and All,
                                 it would be very nice to have these sounds in .SFS format. They are quite heavy to have them uncompressed. It's a good idea the resampling of the voices but having it as normal files is too difficult.

  Would you speak with CirX to ask him if it can be compressed to be part of DBW 1.8 or at least a Side Dish MOD for it?

But I'm not sure it's possible to port in sfs format the Speech folder content due to the game structure

Yes,
            the speeches can be packed and read by the game. There is no problem on doing that. They are in directories as the rest of the sounds.
