Trying to get the Jet Age module to work but not having luck so far.  When starting up IL-2 I get to 70% and the program closes.  Have tried redownloading and reinstalling the 10 parts for this module.  Have also tried reinstalling with just the last restore point in part 9.

Guess I don't have enough posts to insert log file.  Here is the only RuntimeException I could find:

Also, I was just about to post this when it occurred to me that I should try googling for an answer.  I found a post by FritziE who had the same issue.  This was his solution:

I edited the stationary.ini file in the #JTW directory thus:

Making that change in the stationary.ini file does enable me run The Jet Age module.  Is that fix ok or is there another I should be using?

Looks like you got it sorted out. Would you mind checking the stationary.ini file in the downloads for earlier Jet War parts to see if these entries were ever there and just got lost during release of updates? It would be a shame if new players were being discouraged from playing by a couple of missing text entries.

hmm...it doesn't seem right that you'd have to disable some stuff to get the module to load - those beacons exist in my JTW install, so my guess is you might have a similar thing wrong that i had with a 70% JTW crash, which was missing the chief and technics.ini entries, without which the stationary.ini entries can't work and will give you the 70% ctd.
hopefully it's just missing entries, and not a corrupted part somewhere, as mine was.
you might want to roll back to the restore point, then try adding each new part, and see where the crash first kicks in again...

I know that it is not required to reinstall everything, but being a newbie at this I went ahead and started from scratch.  The Jet Age was installed right after the first module.  After each restore point I had no problem restarting the sim. 

I just finished installing the World at War mod and that runs fine also.

Not sure what I did wrong the first time, but am now a very happy camper.  Thanks again for the help.
