Well - that was fun - AND stupid. Half-stupid, anyway. I've just discovered why the icons were oddly sized. That much I was able to correct:

Unfortunately, the campaign still does not load; the campaigns menu still looks like this:

Note the description and the postwar Finnish roundel. Note, too, the empty menu slots.

That could be because you need the rank.properties file (to choose in the Rank menu) and award and icon (for the roundel) .TGA and .MAT files that come with the ES folder, so your game seems to use the wrong ones (or maybe default ?). You may find them in most of the many SCW related campaigns or Mod Packs...

Again, Gatrasz, thank you. That does make sense. However, the only items contained in the Campaign>ES folder are those shown in the screenshot in my previous post, the five background files, the poster image, and the missions folder, which contains only the mis and property files.

I will look for the SCW items you mentioned. It occurs to me that I may need a Spanish language pack as well.

EDIT: Got it! Found the ES folder necessities here:

http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=1205

Although a speech pack isn't strictly necessary, I found one here:

http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=Downloads3&file=details&id=2270

Just tested everything. The campaign loaded successfully, and it's running as well as the single missions. Once again, Gatrasz, many, many thanks.

Many, many thanks to edc1 as well. I hope you're able to create further campaigns, and that they all work as well as this one.  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Thank you Gatrasz!
I had exactly the same problem as EHood. You saved me time to post for a solution!

By the way, the speech pack is a bit disapointing. I don't want to criticize the work of other people: they must have spent a lot of time doing that, but the voices are rahter dull and inexpressive. Being Spanish myself, I would like to hear much more colloquial expressions, more vivid dialogue, and a lot of swearwods!
There is an excellent RAF speech pack that could be quite inspiring.
If someday I have time and learn how to do it, I'll try to make my own contribution, I promise. :P

SpongeBob -

Here's another Spanish language speech pack Poltava posted at M4T a few years earlier:

Thank you EHood,
unfortunately, both files are exactly the same. At the moment, there is just one Spanish speech pack. Of course I appreciate the work and dedication made by the author. It's just it sounds a bit unnatural to me and I prefer hearing Russian voices.

Thanks again for trying to help!

Sorry guys... i am just back from the hospital after a quite hard surgical operastion...

Apparently, I see things are working well for everybody, which is good.

A campaign folder must contain various things :

-award.properties,
-the medals (award0 to 7, for example) in tga,
-a background image in tga,
-an icon.tga (the roundel),
-a rank.properties.

Also, all tga's files need a mat file.

If all this is in, your new campaign folder must work (and if I did not forget something too...).

Yes, thank you, Gaston. The campaign now loads and flies very nicely.  ;D  And I see that I need to apologize for the kitty photos.   :-[  A couple of days ago I "cleaned out" my photobucket library by removing images which seemed superfluous. I'd completely forgotten that some of those grabs were illustrating posts in this thread, and to add injury to injury, I deleted the original images from my Pictures folder.  o_O

Screenshots I took while reviewing the ntrk of one of the ESP missions - I believe it's the 7th, a scramble mission - can be found here, in Reply #9878:

https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,3623.msg554667.html#new

Another, slightly different assortment of images of the same incident can be found here:

http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?name=ForumsPro&file=viewtopic&t=16954&finish=15&start=105

The M4T thread includes, on the same page, screenies I grabbed and posted back in August 2015, shortly after I'd constructed my CUP installation.

Still confused as to how managing the engine of the I-16 Type 10 works. Again, no propeller pitch or supercharger input. My experience flying the I-16 in the base game is based off of such assumptions. Is this a historical thing or have I installed something incorrectly?
