#WAW install dilemma
« on: April 17, 2016, 04:12:11 PM »

I've downloaded all 20 parts of WaW and started installing.

I was interrupted after installing parts 2, 3 or 4 - I can't remember which one. My dilemma is, I don't know what I installed. So can I install again from part 1 through to 20 or will this cock things up?

Many thanks - with bated breath

If you were installing directly into your Il-2 directory, I think that the best solution is to delete your #WAW folder (only to be sure), and then to extract again from Pt 1, allowing to overwrite. But if you just don't remember the last installed, you may find in the main Il-2 directory the ReadMe .txt file(s) related to the #WAW extracted parts.

Many thanks Gatrasz, I was thinking down that line too. But would this affect the SFS-WAW installation, or is #WAW predominantly to do with aircraft and missions? My last resort is to delete all and start afresh, but I'm not that keen to do this - yet.

You can do this, sure, but overwriting the old SFS files with the same ones won't have any bad effect, for what I know.
