How do I tell what part I last installed?
« on: May 25, 2016, 09:02:00 AM »

Hey all

I feel I have missed a couple of updates, as I've not updated my IL2 CUP in a while, but I don't know which part (of either the Jet Age of World at War modules) I last installed.  And sadly my file backups seem to be in a mess as I don't have any of the original CUP install files, nor many of the update files.

How can I tell what part I last installed so that I can continue to update safely?

TIA

You can find out a few information by checking :

-your main Il-2 folder, where are the .txt files for each release of CUP Parts (if you extracted them) ; look out as they aren't all named the same way. It's what I do for myself.

-the last SFS files you have in the folder of each module (SFS_DOF, SFS_WAW, etc). When you'll download the last part of any module, you will see if you lack some files between them.

Thanks.

It appears the last part of WAW I dl'd was part 12b.  I have a lot to download it seems...

Really do wish there was an all-in-one that's up to date but I realise it'd be huge.
