WAW Ship Extension Mod Additions Pt20

v2.0

The version of Ship Extension Mod (SEM) in WAW20 seems to be 2.20 (01/2014). There were 3 patches since that release with the first patch fixing an important bug regarding guns still firing after the ship sinks, a bug which has been reported since the release of WAW over a year ago.

So here is a little unofficial addon for WAW20 as a JSGMEMOD which will update the Ship Extension mod to 2.20.1 (12/2014) and also catches 12 ships in WAW which are not covered by the SEM's disappearing sailors mod and as a result may cause performance problems as reported by mellow214 here - https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,51509.0.html

Installation:
Unzip the #WAW_SEM_Additions_Pt20 folder to JSGMEMODS and activate through JSGME.exe

Download:

Uninstallation:
De-activate #WAW_SEM_Additions_Pt20 through JSGME.exe and remove the mod from the JSGMEMODS folder.

All the classes, mats and textures included in this mod are the work of the original author (western0221). My only contribution was to collect them together as a mod.

This looks really good Moe.  I too cannot get to the link to work.  You and I have talked about ships before and right now I would love to test this for the #WAW21 update and incorporate it fully.

UPDATE - I am currently looking at including Mo's brilliant ship addons permanently in #WAW Part-26 - Ship mods, and their many derivatives, are notoriously difficult to test and fully integrate and compress effectively.  Because these involve so many complex *.INI file changes it would be ideal to install them through an all-new #WAW folder - so #WAW21 will be a full 'restore point' install type.

I know I have been quiet/injured/busy lately but I'm OK now - and the CUP Team has a good solid track record of delivery.  So now you know; we are on it, and it will be done!   :)
