Fantastic !

I wonder... where is this circular area we see in the video ? I mean... it is marked Singapore, but which part of it ? does it still exist today ? I have watched in Google map, but can't find it...

I think that would be the airfield of Kallang.  It was fairly common for civil airports to have their name written large for identification and prestige.  Croydon and Tempelhoff among others did this too if I recall.

Yes, yes, yes, yes! This airfield is Kallang and I have 2 versions, because we have 2 Singapores maps in default sturm, donĀ“t we? Today Singapore is very different, there are only two or three buildings from fourties, I think. But I have really a lot of photos, maps and movies from war time and I tried make it historical. Anyway - landing to Kallang airfield - it is really beatyfull experience - see waves near airfield, atmosphere....yam yam

I guess it is in Slovak, the song about Saigon...

I am aftaid that Cyberolas reached so high level of the art of mapmaking that I will not be able to follow him. Great artist ! Sorry I have not 800 bucks for him , lol.  ;)

You are right, Cyberolas... Kalang Airport does not exist anymore... they made a stadium there, from what I saw on Google map... Thanks for the info !

You are not alone. :) Long gave up the notion of competing with guys like Uufflakke, Agracier or cyberolas or my mate SAS~farang65 with his brilliant from scratch to top production talent. Instead I prefer to tune good maps or test and help map guy's work.- :P

Mr.Uufflakke, second version of Kallang texture has just this runway like there - in your first photo:), but Paya Lebar was only in progress in fourties...your photo is from 1947 or 1951 year, I think.
This is photo from 1941
