Solved - Missing sea textures and animation

 Thanks to VP Media.

Hardware shaders under openGL in config.ini did the trick

(original Post)

Hi everyone.

This might be a dumb question, but I can't for the life of me solve it. I have installed CUP correctly, and everything seems to work fine, with all the content available. The one problem which irks me is that the sea textures are the same flat, dull textures seen in the original game. Previous installations of the most recent modact features fabulous looking animated waves with white peaks and reflections. I have set the water = 4 in the config.ini, to no avail. I am something of a newbie to this, so suggestions of the bleeding obvious would be welcome. I am running the game on three GTX 680 cards.

Thanks in advance for any help offered

You need to look at your log.lst file if you got any problem.
Try enabling HardwareShader=0 to 1 in the conf.ini [OpengL] section.

I am running the game on three GTX 680 cards.

... humm, not sure only 3 GTX680 will be enough to get the sea water foam ...  :P

More seriously, like VPmedia says, you need to run the game in OpenGL mode (not DirectX) ...  ;)
