CUP after one year
« on: July 06, 2016, 10:46:42 AM »

Hello everybody!

I downloaded and installed CUP when it was first released (almost one year ago) and it works great.
But now I saw a lot of new things, addons, etc...for each module and I want to update it.
The problem is: after one year I dont remember what was the last part of each module I installed so I dont know how to act.

I am most interested in the Jet Age module. Should I install it from zero? Or can I start from part 5 or 6?
Thanks in advance!

Mono27,

You could possibly induce which module you are on by what content you have, or re-install all modules over your current ones, but in your case I would say it's much easier to start from scratch and copy any paintschemes, missions, etc over to a new install. Try starting from stock 4.12 and go from there. It may require re-installing IL-2, but starting stock is probably the most certain way to know you have everything right. There have been plenty of updates to CUP since last year, especially WAW and JTW. You'll definitely be in for a treat!

Thanks for your help!

Anyway, I tried deleting my JTW folder and installed the complete module again. It works! So I think that I will do the same with the other 2 modules now. I thin it will take me a looooong time, specially WAW.
