Gr8 utility been using it for a while now - theres plenty of program updates too so check every once in a while. No defrag for IL2 yet tho??

I also use diskeeper, another good freebie is ccleaner - google it & check it out !!

Yes I have CCleaner and have been using it for about a year and I agree a good utility.

Hello all,

Just starting trying out this program, haven't noticed too much of a difference yet (running modded 4.10.1m on a Dell 1545 laptop - I know, but still very playable, trust me!), I will do some more thorough testing but one thing I have noticed is after switching on boost mode and going in to game the contrast appears darker - shadows and dark areas in cockpits are much more noticeable. I haven't decided yet whether or not this adds a touch of extra realism!  ::)

Is this because it shuts down a certain program (in which case I can keep it on if I decide to) or is it something deeper it does as part of the shut down process which I can't avoid?

Thanks in advance,

Michael.  :)

:) Hello everyone!

I confirm, it's a great little tool that I use for a long time I recommend it;

But for optimum performance it's what I did:

- I launch games booster in the first time (Logic), then the TrackIr, after IL-2 and wait ten minutes to fifteen minutes
to retrieve some RAM up to 2000/2300 MB of free RAM (I know it's long when you want to play)  :'( :'( :'( but it helps a lot...
It's a long ritual, daily, almost religious... (I kidding)... but the patience always pays off.

(I often missions on maps with many decors sometimes, so I need lots of free RAM)

- You can make aslo, start a party, close  and  return to main menu, or even close then restart the game,
you gain a little more RAM (it loads faster that), I did this often enough...
then, when I between 2300/2500 MB of free RAM, it's OK... here we go... finally beginning...

"THE WAAAAAAARRRR"

I use: Il2 4.09 UP 2.01 - Resolution: 1400x1050 32Bit

PC configuration:

system:
XP Media Center Edition 2002 Service Pack 3
computer:
AMD Athlon (tm) II 260 X2
Prossecor:
3.21GHz, RAM 3.00Go
Graphics:
NVIDIA 8800 Ultra - 768MD - DDR3

PS:

I also use in parallel - "Advanced SystemCare" - (Antivirus, Maintenance and Cleaning)
and recently - Uniblue "RegistryBooster" with "SpeedUpMyPC" - (Cleaning and Optimization)

http://download.cnet.com/SpeedUpMyPC-2011/3000-18512_4-10602643.html

Small free programs (limited to the action, unfortunately) or paid at a reasonable price... or other...

Everything works flawlessly, no problems, the game is very fluid...

Have fun @+
;) ;) ;) ;)

Sorry for the bad English...

Just got this error for the first time.
Just built a new PC, so I probably don't need gamebooster anymore, regardless I like the program.
Only problem is that with gamebooster running my trackIR hotkey's are disabled, IE I can no longer center the camera.
Very disconcerting, anyone know of a fix? I'm sure its one of the services that are turned off but in the list during customization there isn't anything that would appear to be related to trackIR.

Try assigning another "hotkey" for  the centering of  TIR, I made CTRL+F12 combo for thid and that worked.

The Iobit Game Booster v.3 is out for awhile, better then the previous ones.
The good, it's completely free now, no more Pro stuff needed. You can easily
access manage multiple Games in the new enhanced GUI. Where the older
version limited lot's of cool stuff, you can now use it.
Props to the Devs, I don't wanna miss

Downloaded/instaled program and performed Boost.
Message: "increased performance: 42%"  :o
Wonderfull!! Let's go to the game, I said. :)
But,...absolutely NO difference. :(
Asked to the forum and got the answer: "You need a powerfull(sic) machine to notice the differences".
Oh...yes of course, but if I had a powerfull machine I woudn't need boost(!) ::)
