Low FPS
« on: September 05, 2016, 09:32:24 AM »

Hello all,

Lately, I have noticed that with CUP I get low overall FPS-but this is not a hardware limitation. I have a GTX 570 and 8GB RAM with a 1080p display, so I can run most other games at mid towards max settings (IE Warthunder) with FPS around 60. I would expect that Il 2 CUP would be much the same case but it is not.

Is there any solution to raising the FPS? What causes the drop?

Thank you!

hi,

have you tried with this settings?

also ensure you have activated "#WAW_00_FPS 6 WEPFIX" in JSGME, this is to avoid log spamming as suggested by vpmedia.

Ditto to OP. Much lower FPS with CUP vs VPModpack, HSFX, Stock, etc.

I have #WAW_00_FPS 6 WEPFIX running through JGSME and have good IL2 config settings (viz vee SAS~Storebror).

Operating system Windows 7 Home 64bit, 8 GB Ram, AMD Phenom II X4 965 (3.4Ghz), Radeon Rx470 4GB (latest drivers).

Note that we have an advanced FPS logging tool available here:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,52105.0.html

With it's help, when you specify the exact parameters to reproduce your FPS issues (e.g. QMB mission: Map, number of flights, plane types for each flight and other settings) we could compare results and maybe get a better understanding of what causes those FPS issues.

All of this only in case you didn't add further mods yourself of course, particularly effect mods.

Best regards - Mike
