Vehicle Model Re-textures + new DEAD versions - Part 2




I want to post and share with you guys and gals here some of my recent retextures for the IL2-1946+Mods.

These posts will be of retextures (skins) for ALL the Vehicles+Tanks+SPGs etc. etc. we have in our game.
Some (or all files) will also be fixed if needed for better looking 3d-models.

They look nice as they are but some skins could use a little more detailing, so I am upgrading my personal game
to the next level by adding more eye-candy and some different skins ++ Plus some dead vehicle versions which many
did not have before.
This old game still has ALOT of potential to look even better.
If you like them use them, if you don´t like them , do not use them. It is your personal modded game.
I am just sharing my stuff with you.

Each post below will have a skin package for a set of vehicles (or tanks or whatever I am retexturing).

READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for each package and make sure you already have this model in your game.

If you do not have these models, look in the forum and download it - These have been made available before and
they have been installed into many Mod-packages before.... example;   VP-Modpack... C.U.P. Modpack... TFM modpack, etc.

Before you install any of these new skins + extras, you should already have the models and their needed ini lines
written down in YOUR Game.
You should have them working already, because my downloads will NOT have the complete things from the original download.
Unless I say they are brand new versions.

What you will get in my downloads are
new retextured skins + corrected alpha-channels + new dead model versions + new files with fixes to overwrite the
original files + new human model files and skins that go with these vehicles.
The only lines you will NEED TO CHANGE are inside the "Technics.ini" file (for Stationary moving vehicles) and
the "Static.ini" file (for Static obejcts+vehicles)
Those are the only important files in your game you will be changing - if needed.
 
Its very easy.
Just follow the READ ME Instructions I have placed inside each download package.

3 weeks in the making and fixing files, this big package is now ready

ALL STATIONARY moving Vehicles now feature new passenger and driver and ALL vehicles now have shadows too.  (by Epervier)
Static vehicles still contain the faceless driver+passenger but with proper skins.
Many vehicles still have their original skins but now with proper retexturing to fit the 3d-models a little better. In some of
them you will notice new things. Many new vehicles are also included as static vehicles for creating scenes on your maps and missions.

ALL files and skin-files have been renamed so as to not cause problems or conflicts with other 3d-models already being used !
So do not simply overwrite your game files. These are like NEW Vehicles !

Observation Balloon trailer skins ....
There exists 2 balloon trailers in your game and this replaces the old skins (for this old 3d-model) for new versions.

This is very easy to install into your game. Follow Step 1 and Step 2  as it is written below.

These retextures were done using the VP-Modpack, but if you have these
vehicles, it can be used on ALL game versions. ANY GAME il2-1946+Mods.

Some of the vehicle upgrades are for Epervier Packages and some for wingflyr old upgrades.

You MUST have these vehicles already installed in your game if you want to
use these new upgrades.

They are ALL STATIONARY vehicles.

STEP 1

Check FIRST in your game "Cars" folders where you see the same name as the ones
in this download. The names are written above.

Once you find the same folder with the same name ... ERASE what you now have inside
that folder.
---->  ERASE EVERYTHING - All old files and skins !
---->  DO NOT Overwrite anything !

These new folders contain ALL new names and file fixes.

Once you erase the old files, install these NEW files into your game (the same name
folder)

LET Me say it again... Erase the old and install the NEW !

DO THIS to your game with all the folders you see inside my download package.
Then go to STEP 2

Once you have erased all the old files and installed the new file upgrades,
Go open your Technics.ini with NOTEPAD.
Path.... IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\#SAS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects

Search slowly for all 6 of these names as seen below and
erase old lines and write the NEW LINES into your technics.ini file.

Once this is done, you can start your game and get new and better vehicles.
