Hi! I've been trying to install the CUP module for the past few days. However, I keep getting load.ini errors when I open several maps. (For example, Reno and Serbia). I have all five modules installed, and I have the CUP and WAW JSGME restore points installed.

I checked the file sizes of the contents of the SFS_MAPS folder. According to the manual, Maps07.sfs should be 3.28mb. My copy has a file size of 25.9kb. Where can I find a full copy of Maps07.sfs?

25.92kb is the size of \SFS_MAPS\Maps07.sfs on my CUP install and both Reno and Serbia can be opened.

This should show us what's wrong when you try to open them.

(I started up WAW with 1GB of RAM, opened Mission Editor, and then tried to run Reno and Serbia.)

I tried to post my logfile, but it thought I was posting links. So, I'll try tell you what errors I had. For the Reno map I had a "INTERNAL ERROR: TGA: Unsupported format (RLE encoding) in MAPS/_Tex/Trees/whc_Jungle (dot) tga", "INTERNAL ERROR: LoadTextureFromTga('MAPS/_Tex/Trees/whc_Jungle (dot) tga')", and a loading error for "Reno/load (dot) ini". For Serbia, I couldn't access "MAPS/_Tex/Avala/serbia/SrbijaDrvo (dot) tga" and it failed to load "Serbia/load (dot) ini".

... I spent quite a long time looking for these files and they are hard to track...

For Reno you have an odd error, the file whc_Jungle.tga has been saved with RLE compression.
For Serbia I cannot find the file SrbijaDrvo.tga, only SrbijaDrvoTL.tga, I thought I had all files extracted from SFS archives on my system but not this one.
I was hoping I could point you to a single MapsXX.sfs file to replace/add but so far no joy!

While I go to bed to get some rest do you mind doing a search on "whc_jungle" using the search box of the forum main page?
Can you do same for "SrbijaDrvo" ?

  For Serbia, I couldn't access "MAPS/_Tex/Avala/serbia/SrbijaDrvo (dot) tga" and it failed to load "Serbia/load (dot) ini".

You must have different files in _Tex folder and in load.ini file.
For your Il-2 Landscape setting set to "Perfect" You must have at the end of  the paragraph [APPENDIX]  in load.ini :

Tree0 = Avala/serbia/SrbijaDrvo.tga

while for Excellent Landscape setting you must have this line unmarked:

//Tree0 = Avala/serbia/SrbijaDrvo.tga

In the _Tex/Avala/serbija/  folder, you must have files
SerbijaDrvoTL.tga and SerbijaDrvoTrunkTL.tga.

Do not know why, but it wotks.

After reading Uzin's post, I tried changing my Landscape setting to Perfect. Surprisingly, it fixed ALL of my load.ini issues. Thank you so much!
