Pe-8 Propellorhub error ~ SOLVED
« on: November 05, 2016, 10:35:13 AM »

Hello,

Creating a  mission in CUP FMB in which player and the AI planes have to intercept a Pe-8, I came to this... The two right propeller hubs are inverted. Can happen, I realize that, but can something be done to solve this problem?

Try the attached fix. DL, unzip and move the folder "! 00_Pe-8_Prop-Fix" into your CUP/#WAW folder.

Indeed, same problem in my vpmodpack and heavily modded 5.30 installs and this mod solved them all. I guess it's an issue with Jero's mod.
Thank you Gerhard  :)

I guess it's an issue with Jero's mod.

Yes, it is. In Modact just disable the Pe-8 folder in Jeros Eng+Cowling Mod.
VP-Modpack I do not know atm.

This fix above is for CUP:
The bug is somewhere in Jeros Pe-8 msh files. And they are burried
in the SFS files of CUP. To fix this this the buggy files must be overwritten
by whether some fixed Jero msh files or - as I did it here - with the
stock msh files. So its just a quick'n'dirty fix but at least it works...  :-|
I always do it in this way. First I look for the quick fix. Later then
I (plan to) try to find a better solution. But sadly this mostly doesn't happen
as I am always busy with other things and so forget about it.  :P

But maybe someone with better msh knowledge could try to fix Jeros mod?  ;)
