Yes we must do a clean JSGME list asap.  There is also another, very simple, aircraft update in the works.  New planes for #WAW plus a few minor fixes and tidy-ups.  So will put all toogether very shortly.

NO FULL QUOTES!!!!!

Monty, thank you for explaining this. I was kind of confused about the double or triple JSGME entries and which ones to activate

First off thank-you and all involved in this great mod. Second, as I look at your JSGME list, I do not have DOF_MAPINI and wondering if it is essential? My DOF is running perfectly but wondering if I'm missing something. Again thank-you for CUP.

Hello mate

Firstly, I will be doing #WAW Part-22 before we even think of slowing down.  Its a week away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DOF MAP.ini is my own campaign building addon that simply reduces the choices in FMB when I am making campaigns.  Its a good tool but not important.  Of course, we should do a big JSGME review and explanation for everyone.  Its so easy to make these little switches and I am always happy to share anything with anyone, that's the whole spirit of the CUP Project.

I read in other forums people saying they tried installing CUP but it did not work, it is too complex, too many steps and they give up... I understand it takes time to download and unzip but absolutely nobody should have any trouble getting a CUP install working. What is surprising is that I am not sure those same people go and ask for help. The statements seem out of nowhere.

Download, unzip, move! (all those restore points? just mind the last restore point for each module). Then delete 1 sfs file and some OPTIONAL folders and, of course, edit your conf.ini. So what is the big deal?

The big deal is that you are missing out the Biggest Deal you can get today: 55 GBs of absolute magnificence. Years of modding tightly packed and brilliantly presented in what is the greatest achievement since IL-2 saw the light 15 years ago: impressive maps, aircraft, objects, sounds... CUP is the most complete all-purpose air combat simulator to date, I have no doubts.

Simon and many others have been pursuing this very moment for many years and they unselfishly keep updating and improving CUP for us to enjoy it and I cannot thank you enough CUP team!

My greetings to the developers of IL 2 CUP, I do not speak English, and managed to install CUP, long ago.

Thanks for all the time you dedicate to the CUP, it's great where il2 came from.
Thank you very much!!!!

Whistler - 90% of CUP failures come purely from user error, people dont read the threads, think they know it all and when they f*ck up, they blame the modders, sas, or simon directly, it is NEVER their fault, even when its proved to be their fault. It is always someone else...... a bit like recent politics lol
