Russia mid east front 1941-44 by Klaus109
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,51395.msg560072.html#msg560072

Yet another masterful map joins the CUP Chart-Room.

With over a million objects Klaus109 has rendered a huge area of the Russian Front in great detail.  Campaign makers are already beside themselves with the possibilities.

Despite its size Klaus109's brilliant map reveals great performance and beautiful views.

This single map module upgrade features many new objects, necessary to operate the map properly, and new corresponding Static.ini files for each module.

Provided you have followed previous directions, and installed SAS-MME up to date as far as Part-16 and Part-16B, then this addition will simply drop in over the top of that.

We offer our sincere congratulations and many thanks to Klaus109.  It is no exaggeration to call his Mid East Front Map; a certified Masterpiece!

SAS-MME PART-17, the third Map Module released this week, also serves to help consolidate CUP material.

The Il2 mod map makers provide our flying environment.  The care and skill with which they do this is quite extraordinary.

In my opinion the Il2 mod maps, alongside our beautiful aircraft and objects, actually present the best looking and most accessible of all combat flightsims, by a long way!

CUP fixes and structure: All modules now use a unified Static.ini file.  This took some work I can tell you!  By installing SAS-MME PART-17 you will get the full benefit, in QMB and FMB, of all the latest object sets and textural improvements.

Hello Mike, as we were discussing, this gets CUP up to date with current mapmods.  What a fantastic number of high quality projects we have seen bear fruit this year.

Good point Kiwi,

It is perfectly OK to drop these into your main install.  The main thing is just to get the sequence right.  Doing them in number order ensures that updated files are properly over-written and updated.

My first reference - and the easiest place from where to grab everything is:

STEP BY STEP - EASY ALL IN ONE INSTALL GUIDE
