OK, it is now flying in the VP-Modpack (game version 4.12)

I only have a small problem.
I cannot see through the target tube from the cockpit seat. All I see is a black circle of glass.
Any suggestions to fix it ?

Ok, I found the fix

Time for some action against the Luftwaffe ! Shooting down some "flying pencils" 
I have now added some new roundels to my aircraft.

Have you assigned a key on the keyboard to open / close the viewfinder lens hood ("black circle") ?
It's the same thing for many planes having this kind of viewfinder. (Key "O" in my game)

It's "Toggle Reticle Dimmer" in the "Miscellaneous Controls" section.
