Loading and Hangar screen
« on: December 27, 2016, 11:54:03 AM »

OK, I looked for an answer here but can't find it. So I'll ask: Why don't I see the DOF or JTW Loading/Hangar screens when I start these modules? I always get the WAW ones. Is this a jsgme issue? The correct background files seem to be there, but they don't display.

My CUP installation has always done that. I think that's just the way it is with the loading and hangar screens. Frankly, it doesn't bother me. As long as I see, for example, "V4.12.2 with CUP (D.O.F. Module)" at the lower left on the loading page, just above the loading level, then I know the selector is taking me to where I want to go. Likewise, the WWII hangar art isn't a problem.  8)

cperleberg - Just had a thought. You do ask a fair question, and I apologize if reply#1 sounds flippant. It's occurred to me that TGA, which does offer some interesting art, is a relatively recent addition to CUP. My presumption is that the loading process was engineered with a slight difference.

Now to have a look at KevinHoggard's link....

 ;)

EDIT: WOW! Thanks, KevinH!  ;D
