I've tried to install BAT, but I think my GOG copy of IL2 is faulty. Best I could do was to get TGA going briefly. also, any plane that tries to take off from a carrier explodes. It doesn't matter if it's 4.10, 4.11, or 4.12.2. So, I'll try and d/l another version of IL2, and see how it goes. BAT looks like a fantastic idea. For WWI, I'll probably use DBW 1916, as it has the 4.10 Infantry. For everything else, I'll use BAT. Time could be an issue if I get an new job. Meanwhile thanks everyone for an excellent effort.

 David, I've had no issues with the GOG version when installing BAT.  Have you not downloaded the files again from your GOG library? Also using GOGs IL-2 downgrade patch to get it from 4.13 to 4.10. then i use 4.12.2 megapatch from this site to get to the vanilla 4.12.2 BAT requires..

I think it has become corrupted recently. And, anyway, every time I try a carrier take off with any plane, it explodes on deck. Just as well I'm not a big fan of carrier missions. So, I'll ditch it and get a new d/l. Good luck with your game.
