nVidia Inspector
« on: January 30, 2017, 08:30:34 PM »

I am returning my game computer to Windows XP.  When I change NVidia Inspector's antialiasing settings to 8SQ I get no change in the IL 2.
In reading on the author's website for NVidia Inspector I found a statement that said it had to be run as an administrator now due to changes
in NVidia graphics drivers.  For those people still using XP do you use NVidia Inspector?  If so what version?  I have looked for an older version
and cannot find one.

right click on the application icon, (nVidia Inspector) left click on the properties tab, find the Compatibility tab and at the bottom it says run as administrator.... click the box, hit apply and ok............... presto chango, you now have admin rights on that program....................

Cheers

Thanks for taking time to reply.  I am using Windows XP.  Right click on icon, left click on properties brings up compatibility mode, display settings and input settings.  No run as administrator in XP.

What GPU do you have?
Does it support 8xSQ at all? (my GTX-970 for instance doesn't).
Did you make sure that either in Nvidia Control Panel settings, in Nvidia Inspector Settings or in both the AA mode is set to "override application settings"?

Best regards - Mike
