C.U.P. Installation instruction confusion
« on: March 18, 2017, 07:36:19 PM »

Pardon the noob question, but I've seen contradicting installation instructions for CUP and I've had some difficulties for sure...I started using the topic under CUP downloads "STEP BY STEP - EASY ALL IN ONE INSTALL GUIDE" which is not labeled outdated but instructs DOF, WAW,...with MME last (followed by some minor cleanups and additions). The manual v7 and other links I see seem to recommend MME first and using restore points...can anyone provide some clarity? I have the most recent (three days ago) torrent downloads and seeded up 6:1 for the benefit of the community!

Thank you!

clarity.... CUP has been abandoned, it no longer has support, CUP became BAT, easier to install, and yes you can download it via torrent.

glad to assist, if you do want BAT after reading the posts etc on here, do everyone and yourself a huge favour, DOWNLOAD and READ the manual....it prevents a lot of problems if you do

Even with an all in one installation , people can and do get it wrong , then they complain their game has been stuffed up by the mod etc etc.....

hope you enjoy BAT

Well there is always some irreducible in history ... and I am one of them.
I'm using C.U.P. for obvious practical reasons, tied to my old PC, it does not support the huge amount of BAT, but for that I care ... I need a new PC. :)
Mine is older than 15 years, never made a component update, but still pulls, although limps.  :P
I followed step by step installation of C.U.P. from here "https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,47647.0.html" and I have not had any kind of problem, it really flows like oil. But if you have already addressed your interest in BAT is better so that soon I will join them ;)
I repeat only flaw is this damn pc dated that I find myself, "BUT I am fond CI AND 'A LITTLE LIKE A VIRTUAL WAR VETERAN," sooner or later have to retire ;)

P.S.
I'm using google translator  :-|
