Hello aces on SAS.

Today I give to all of you a skin that represented a genuine one off in Fw-190 advancement. In competition with the D-11 and the D-13 aircraft in mid 1945, this was a combination of both parties, however the D-13 got the bid in the end for mass production, whereas this aircraft would have been the template for the D-14/D-15 aircraft with it's firepower. Armed with a single 30mm Cannon in the nose and two MG/151 machine guns, it packed a deadly punch and would have been a force to be reckoned with.

Sadly a variant of this aircraft doesn't exist in IL2. The closest aircraft to it would be the D-14 prototype or the D-13. More accurately is the D-13 as this fighter was powered by a Jumo 213, whereas the D-14 was powered by a DB605.

So, here she is! I present the Fw-190D-12 prototype....the SOLE example of this beautiful aircraft.
