The use of prop pitch with the Wildcat
« on: May 24, 2017, 04:22:56 PM »

Hello, and thanks for the input.

Should I control the prop pitch in the Wildcat F4F-4, or should I just let the auto prop manage it? Any advice on this topic would be appreciated. Thank you.

Me?, I go 80%...don't use the auto at all.  Sometimes I win, sometimes I loose.  At 80% prop pitch I do, however get good engine work.

Cheers

Thanks for the information. I'm trying 80% but my performance just isn't good, unfortunately.
