Imperial Iranian IIAF F-16A in Asia Minor colours 
The Shah already had signed a contract with General Dynamics for 160 aircraft and a follow up order for 140 more. Deliveries didn't happen due to the revolution in 1979

WOW! The Iranian one looks very pretty, and if i didn't know any better id probably think the Austrian one is historically accurate.

it might become so, as they are looking to replace the expensive Typhoons by 2020 and the F-16 has a very good cost per flight hour ratio...
